‘Circle of Security’ classes taught through Dec. 12
ST. IGNATIUS — Circle of Security classes will be offered for free Mondays, Oct. 24-Dec. 12, at The Nest, 410 St. Mary’s Drive. The class meets from 4-5:30 p.m. This parenting class is for parents with children under the age of five. Pre-registration is required, call 406-745-3681. Course materials will be provided.

Mission Chamber holds children’s Christmas carnival
ST. IGNATIUS — On Saturday, Dec. 3, a children’s Christmas Carnival will be held at the Community Center from 2-4 p.m. Santa will be there and there will be lots of games and prizes for kids of all ages. At 5:30 p.m. there will be a tree lighting ceremony at Gariepy Park with chili, cookies and hot beverages along with caroling and a Parade of Lights. All businesses, churches, and organizations are encouraged to have a float in the Parade of Lights. There is no entry fee and it is a great time to display your creativity. Later there will be details for the home decoration contest with prizes for three winners. Watch for details in the coming weeks in the paper and on posters. Chorus presents songs of love, peace, joy
ST. IGNATIUS — The Missoula Community Chorus with Artistic Director Ron Wilcott will present their annual winter concert on Thursday, Dec. 8, at 7:30 p.m. at Mission Valley United Methodist Church, 70715 Highway 93 North, mile marker 39.5, in St. Ignatius. “Peace, Love, Joy” features choral music from guest artist including JuBellation. The Missoula Community Chorus Chamber Chorale will also sing Benjamin Britten’s “Ceremony of Carols.” A suggested donation of $5 is requested at the door.
